I need help, I have been a CEO for a disability charity for 5 years, the charity and work are thriving. 

We recruited new board members and my life at work is now unbearable, only when I deal with the board. The new trustees complain about everything I do, they even have a what's app group where I've been told my decisions are always criticised. The trustees causing trouble also have no governance experience and their interpretation of governance is awful. They are very vocal and have taken over. I feel so upset because the charity is the strongest it's ever been. I feel  I'm being bullied by the chair and board secretary especially, I worry have no options open to me. 

Has any CEO ever raised a grievance against their own board?  I've been told I would need to inform funders so this is a very serious step. This is impacting my health and family life as I am so upset by their actions,  I feel so outnumbered by the board and unsupported.
