This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
How far can a trustee probe into managers health concerns? In an early years setting the chairperson, being fuelled with tittle tattle from employees who are the chairs best friends, has done nothing but direct negativity to the manager who has recently suffered a stroke.
The manager was put on reduced hours by GP now trustee moaning saying she's not pulling her weight and not doing her job properly! The chair and the secretary have spent 3 hours grilling her and being pretty intimidating in their tone. They also asked detailed questions about her health ...wanting to know how many headaches she gets, for how long...etc....
My question is....is this right?????
