The ideal solution for a resource issue in the charity would be to have a currently employed part time employed member of staff deliver a separate bolt on piece of work as an additional day per week. The rate for this would be different to their current role, but they are the ideal person for the additional role.
Is it within Charity employment law to offer them a 1 day per week bolt on freelance contract (they are already set up as a freelance), as an addition to their current employed role?
