We are a charitable trust properly constituted since 2021 that has been denied registration by the England and Wales Charity Commission on the grounds that our aim is not charitable, despite it being obviously charitable.
Our income is now over £5,000. HMRC have registered us for Gift Aid Concession as a charity recognised by them as having charitable aims. We are not allowed to register in Scotland or Northern Ireland. Any advice anyone?
