Hello. I am working with a small cat rescue who have just become a registered charity and been granted Gift Aid status.
We have an account with our local Vet, who offers us a great service and a small discount. Some of our wonderful supporters make donations to our Vet Fund by calling the Vets directly and making payments over the phone/by cheque.
These donations are intended ONLY for work they do on our behalf, so are effectively our donations - therefore, I am assuming we can claim Gift Aid on these - as long as the Vets keep a detailed record of who has made the donations.
Is this right?
