OK, so I'm a little obsessed with TED Talks but today's my birthday so I'm allowed to set the tone...or at least that's what my mother's been telling me over 40 years.

This TED Talk from Dan Pallotta titled "The way we think about charity is dead wrong" may be from across the pond, and it may be four years old, but it's still current and relevant to the ever-present 'overhead conversation' that I've mentioned in other posts.

Watch it in your lunch hour...and then think about how you can use what you've learnt to influence the thinking of those around you.
