I'm working with a charity that is considering offering a death in service benefit* to all contracted employees.
Does anyone have experience with this sort of benefit? I would be interested to hear any thoughts.

*A Death in Service benefit is a type of life insurance provided by employers that pays a lump sum to the beneficiaries of an employee who dies while still employed.
