The Faculty of Public Health is holding its annual Public Health Expo & Annual Conference at the International Centre Telford on the 20TH & 21ST June. Our President Professor John Middleton is very keen to support those smaller charities and organisations, thus our exhibition only will be open to the general public free of charge. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to come along, meet, make contacts and network with like minded people some of whom are volunteers working hard to promote all aspects of good health.
PLEASE NOTE ONLY THE EXHIBITION IS OPEN FREE OF CHARGE – Should you wish to attend the conference a fee is payable and must be booked in advance. If you wish to have an exhibition display thus allowing you to promote your organisations please do not hesitate to contact me, we are a non for profit charity but to cover our costs a charge will apply.
To date we have 50 exhibitors, please see our web site www.fph.org.uk Confirmed speakers to date are:-
Simon Stevens – CEO NHS England, Duncan Selbie – CEO Public Health England, Kevin Fenton – Director of Health & Wellbeing Public Health England, Justin Varney – National lead for Adult Health & Wellbeing Public Health England, Prof John Middleton – Hon Professor of Public Health University of Wolverhampton & President of Faculty of Public Health

The role of evidence in public health reform at a national and local level.
Planetary Health: Growing evidence suggests that the planet’s capacity to sustain the growing human population is declining.
What can the public health community do to identify risks and reverse the trends.
The role of public health in local communities.
Public Health Question Time.
We are pleased to be welcoming back to our 2017 event Café Art appointed as official photographers for the event. Café Art connects people affected by homelessness with the wider community through art and photography - and will exhibit art and photography at the event.
For those of you who may wish to "keep fit" there will be an inflatable basketball pitch for you to have fun or challenge a colleague, plus Laughter Yoga sessions. We are also pleased to announce that NOVA FM Radio a local community station will be broadcasting LIVE from our event to the Newport/Telford area and will be looking to interview delegates and exhibitors on air. These are just a few of the events planned with more to follow.
We do hope that you will be able to come along.
Kind regards
Keith
