My organisation, The White Rose Forest, are currently a strategic partnership, part of Kirklees Council.  Our funding streams are changing over the next three years, we want to establish a charitable aspect to our organisation to ensure our funds are independent to the council and that we are able to apply for and attract independent funding.

I am currently looking at our options, pros and cons before putting together a recommendations paper for Partnership board.  Had anyone been through this recently - can you advise of any websites for information please - or would you be willing to share your governance and income structure explaining why it works for your organisation?
