Hi
Our charity is looking to improve its practice in relation to environmental sustainability and impact. Please would you be able to point me in the direction of resources/information relating to the following?:
  • How to conduct an 'environmental sustainability/eco' audit, or similar? Information relating both to a self-audit and using the services of an external consultant would be helpful
  • Green employee perks and benefits such as carbon offset holidays i.e. people who choose to drive rather than fly can gain TOIL
  • How can we go about judging how environmentally friendly our investments are? How can we reinvest into funds that have positive environmental impact?
  • Accreditation/certifications similar to Fair Trade whereby charities meeting certain green criteria can officially certify themselves as an environmentally conscious organisation (for example, Green Mark - Sustainability Certification for your businesses)
Help appreciated and general advice of course welcomed - thank you!
David
