Hi all, I'm new to the site and new to Charities, having spent my working life in commercial organisations.  However, I have just started a site that I would like to become a suicide prevention(not for profit/Charity/Social enterprise) but am not sure which to start with or is it a process?
I've heard that you set up as a not for profit (year one), then charity (say year 2, maybe 3) and then social enterprise (3+) - but this was from an accounting/filing perspective and there are problems with receiving funding as a social enterprise for certain things? Would be interesting if anyone can advise on what they would do in my position, given their experience?
Many thanks all, Angie
