Professional fundraising tips for church project

Our Church, which is a registered charity, has some exciting development projects in the pipeline but ones which will require significant external funding via grants or similar.

I just wondered if you had any advice or contacts with respect to professional fundraisers. We would prefer to find an individual or organisation who would be paid fees as a percentage of income raised rather than having to "pay up front".
