CharityConnect: Purposely Podcast shining a light on the founder stories of charities
Hi Charity Friends
In between third sector roles... also through lock down version #1 I had time reflect on all the incredible people I had met through my decade at the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation. People who had selflessly responded to need... to start an organisation or a project or initiative to do good. People who share interesting start-up stories, but without the lure of making millions, rather for the purpose of helping others. The response has been fantastic and my hope is that by shining a light on these stories it will inspire others.
People like Sir Tim Smit Eden Project, Katrin McMillan Hello World, Olly Belcher Shivia, Richard Moore Children in Crossfire, Dr Sarah Fane Afghan Connection, Sanjeev Gandhi Reach to Teach, Mark Johnson UserVoice, Sarah Brook Sparkle Foundation, Lucy Buck Childsi, Howard Lake UK Fundraising, Ian Thwaites Level Water, Nyasha Gwatidzo Banya, Joe Russo Enthusiasm Trust, Hannah Underwood, Datakind UK and the Key
