I started a charity just over 3 years ago and been CEO since then. The role wasn't defined, but slowly, as we've grown, we're putting these things in place. I've just been doing everything from delivery to fundraising to meeting etc, I'm sure you all know how this works. and most of it voluntarily too.
At a recent trustee meeting it has been decided that I know will have to be interviewed for my job, and that it will be advertised outside of the charity. Is this normal?
