I am researching putting together a talks policy to ensure we use our own resources wisely and get the best out of the talks and contacts we make. I wasn't planning to put any charges in place, but want to encourage donations. What does your organisation currently do? Do you have a suggested donation or leave it open? Do you have any wording on your website I can look at please?
