Hi everyone, 

Once a month we organise virtual EDI conversations for our employees, and soon we want to open them up to the volunteers too. We've observed that they are the most useful and effective when we've got a guest speaker. So we're now looking for someone for our July meeting and for more speakers to put a plan for those meetings for September to February. 

Some of the topics that we would like to cover are allyship, lived experience of different protected characteristics or those which go beyond that definition, LGBTQ+, but other relevant topics will also be welcome. 

So I'm reaching out to this community to see if anyone would be interesting in talking about their experience, know someone who could do that or would like to showcase their charity's work in the sphere of EDI? We generally engage with speakers on a pro-bono basis, but if that's a barrier, we can pay a small fee. The sessions are virtual (unless someone really wants to deliver in person) so no travel cost is involved. They are usually on 3rd Thursday of the month 10am to 11am, but we can be flexible with enough notice. 

I would really appreciate people come forward or make recommendations/put us in touch with relevant people. We could possibly explore providing a speaker from Make-A-Wish in return. Thanks in advance.
