Hi guys I'm considering a directorship with an organisation it's quite small but they have had quite bad luck in terms of trustees and some senior leaders some have passed away sadly, anyway. they are redesigning their staff  structure and they now wanted director to help cool things together they have some got some quite serious financial problems, CEO is fairly new

My question is in a restructure like this, what should I be mindful of as a new director?

I really want the organisation to be successful it's tackling an area of support that is neglected 

Of course you have probably picked up that I am trying to conduct some due diligence before starting looking at the CEOs background and profile and some of the staff but what should I be mindful of walking in?

How can I say this not frightened but leaving consultancy behind and we're just a bit mindful and wary of what I might be walking in on
