We are a well established  small-medium sized not-for-profit organisation registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. Our Board is seeking to engage an independent governance professional to assist us to gather evidence and assess performance against the Charity Governance Code (whether for small or large organisations is TBC). 

We anticipate this will be a relatively short, time sensitive piece of work, and envisage the person we engage to undertake the review will produce a draft report (findings and recommendations), present this to our Board, and shape the final summary report and recommendations.

It would be great to hear from colleagues who can either share experience and recommendations from their own organisation, or who know and can recommend good consultants to reach out to who would be well placed to support us with the review.
