What is the general timeline for new charity registration?

What is the duration for registering a new charity(CIO) with the Charity's Commission? I have started a new charity registration since early 2024 through a consultant due to being busy with studies at the time. When I asked, I was told it's taking longer to register one . Does anyone have an idea on how I can find out what the bottle neck is.
