Hi all
We're in discussion with a web developer who's sent us a shortlist of options for our website back end.
- Continue to use WordPress, £0/mo
- Move to Framer, £4+/mo (scalable)
- Move to SquareSpace, £12+/mo (scalable)
I favour 1 or 2, probably. But he says Framer isn't great for e-commerce, and therefore probably not great for taking donations.
Does anyone have any experience of that? Obviously donations are a pretty critical bit of what we want (!), and I'm persuaded by research that shows people are more likely to donate on your own site rather than be routed to JustGiving, etc.
If Framer isn't great for e-commerce, do people have experience of embedding a widget from, say, JustGiving, or CharityCheckout, or a similar donations management platform?
And I'm going to ask in another post if people have views on those, too.
