I am Head of Fundraising for a small/micro charity, Skylarks, with big ambitions. The charity is based in Richmond-upon-Thames, Greater London and is expanding in to Hounslow. We support children with additional needs, and their families, to thrive, providing support for parents in terms of SEND advice, networks and wellbeing. We also provide sessions for children with SEND and their siblings to relax, play and meet other children. We run weekly after school and pre-schools drop in sessions with specialist support from counsellors, and other professionals. We also provide holiday activities, day trips and specialist activities and we are just starting a new employment skills programme working in schools to support older children with SEND to find fulfilling careers.
