I have worked in the 3rd sector now since 2012.  Started off as a volunteer helping out a friend and our chairperson do some fundraising and admin.  Then moved into the Charity as an official role of administrator and then since then moved into the Events and Fundraising team.  We founded Charlie House with only 2-3 people and now we are sitting in an office with a wealth of experience around me to the ever-growing team of nearly 24 people.

Charlie House is raising 8m to build a specialist respite centre here in Aberdeen for Children with Complex Disabilities and life shorting conditions.  Currently, there is nowhere for our families to go in the NE of Scotland and currently have to travel over 100 miles to get any kind of respite.  Our dream is to have the centre right here in Aberdeen.
