Hi folks,
I work for a small charity (there are currently 3 staff), with an income of around £700k / year. We are looking to fill a finance officer / bookkeeper vacancy and I'm looking for advice / suggestions on how other people have structured a similar role in small charities.
Our thoughts at the moment are that the role would take on all bookkeeping tasks (although not necessarily all payments, as some of our transfers overseas are quite complex) as well as some data entry for donations received into our CRM (Salesforce).
I'd be interested in hearing from others working in small charities about (a) what roles your finance officer fulfils (b) whether you have other roles / external support providing these services.
And of course, if anyone knows anyone who might be suitable for a part-time, flexible role - please give me a shout!
Thanks,
Pip.
