A bit more about Ian:
Ian has worked at board/executive level for 25, including various chair and CEO roles. He is the founder of the free Charity Excellence Framework, an online toolkit that enables any non-profit to improve its impact and financial resources. It anonymously aggregates the data into the Charity Sector Data Store to create Big Data for the sector. He funds everything himself, so set up an online charity registration company last year to help fund running costs.
Ian has been a charity volunteer for 40 years. Currently, his volunteer roles include being chair of a grant-making company, a founding trustee of the Campaign To Ban Trophy Hunting, a chair mentor for the SCC and an FSI charity adviser. He has very broad-based experience, with particular expertise in start-ups and turnarounds, governance, strategy, income generation and organisational development. He holds an MSc (Corporate Management) and professional qualifications in accounting & finance (ACCA) and managing fundraising (IoF).
