Where would you look for a charity bookkeeper?

Hi All,
Having a really tough time setting up a bank account. We've tried various banks but all seem to take 10 or so weeks to come back around with a straight rejection. We're getting quite desperate as it is eating into essential fundraising time.
We have a project portfolio in some countries such as Zambia and Zimbabwe but can't see how this is a definitive reason for rejection.
We're probably 15 weeks delayed so far in getting a bank account set up.
Any ideas, innovative workarounds would be recieved gratefully.
