Hi everyone, I'm Rupen. 

I'm currently the senior policy and influencing officer at VoiceAbility - one of the UK's biggest advocacy providers. I'm a Philosopher by academic background and I recently completed a Masters in Religious Studies where I graduated with distinction with my dissertation on racism, capitalism and yoga. I'm really passionate about grassroots activism, collective action and campaigning - a bottom-up rather than a top-down approach. 

I'd love an experienced, senior mentor with lots of knowledge of large-scale organising and working with marginalised communities internationally and or/nationally.

Career-wise I worked for government for 3 years and have a background in freelance journalism for publications like Gal-Dem, The Metro and others.  I also have experience in international policy work - and my Masters primarily focused on Indian religions and Hindu Nationalism. In my spare time, I like meditation, fashion, talking to my plants and conscious rap.
