Hi everyone,
I am in the process of starting a new charity and am finding it rather daunting.
I will be using the CIO model in the U.K. but have a couple of questions I hope someone can help me with.
Firstly is it recommended for a paid CEO of a charity to be a trustee as long as the conflict of interest is well managed?
Secondly would I need to be a trustee first to register for the charity commission and then be appointed by the other trustees as CEO after registration is approved?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
