This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
I am a member of a CIC community (not board or trustee, and a trustee of a different CIO) and have come across a difficult situation.Â
The founder has stripped a director of voting rights, appointed two new directors, and made the following statement on the company’s registration site: Nature of control: Right to appoint or remove directors”. Some members are very concerned about this control. This founder has done something similar previously.Â
Would be grateful for Any advise if this is permitted. Many thanks.
