This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
I am a Lead Manager at a charity where bullying has been allowed to go unchecked for months. It ended (or still continuing) with myself being threatened with violence. The Board, then proceeded to let the accused remain in work and onsite, with vulnerable children, while myself and a colleague, have been asked to remain at home.
Over two weeks later this still is the case. We are beginning to feel like the accused and treated as such. I have had no contact from Trustees except for official, stay at home abrupt emails. We have also found out that the Board are planning to make the charity insolvent. I promise you, it's the most flush charity I have worked for in 20 years.
What can we do and where can we go? We have connected the Charity Commission but the turnaround is 4 weeks or more and the charity is in danger.
2 weeks later - I am now suspended for gross misconduct, shutting down my grievance against a trustee and whistleblowing. Help!
