CharityConnect: Charity Fast-Track: Foundation - February places avaiable
After filling all available places for our November course, we're back with four more Foundation course dates for you to train yourself impressive.
Feb 10th is our next course start date, and we're already excited about those joining us on the programme. https://charityfasttrack.uk/course/12-week-foundation-course/
(The Bootcamp date is Saturday 22nd Nov. An optional part of the course, held at our offices in London, we run this as a free extra because the better we know you, the more impact we can have).
We'll also be running start dates in May, August and November 2020.
Train Yourself Impressive with Charity Fast-Track
Since 2015 Charity Fast-Track has been working with people looking to build careers with meaning, whether you're new to the sector, or looking upskill and improve your practice. You may even be an employer who wants their staff to learn from sector experts so they can deliver greater impact, quicker.
Changing the world is hard. It needs more than commitment and passion; it needs highly-trained, skilled people.
There is a clear and growing sector need to access and support a more diverse group of talented, ambitious people – people who understand the complexities of running a charity, and have a greater sense of where they can best have an impact rather than just a broad desire ‘to work for charity’.
We know people are eager to learn and be better equipped – and we know charities are crying out for talented staff with these skills.
That’s why we’ve launched Charity Fast-Track: Foundation. Curated by experts from across the sector, the course is 12 weeks long, with 5 core modules. Study is online, with a one day Bootcamp event to launch the course. It is suitable for those looking for their first charity sector job, career changers, or those already in the sector who want to build their skills and experience.
The course is modular, and covers:
How Charities Operate
How Charities Make Money
How Charities Communicate
How Charities Drive Change
How Charities Deliver Impact
By focusing on how social impact organisations do what they do, we provide a comprehensive grounding in the profession of charity.
At the heart of this learning is a practical fundraising challenge. Our partners at international development charity Child.org subsidise your learning experience. In return, you’ll lead a team of volunteers to raise vital funds so that they can continue to change and save the lives of children in Kenya and Sierra Leone.
Through this you’ll showcase practical skills in volunteer management, charity communication and project design. You’ll have a record of creating social impact on your CV, and you’ll have a great time doing it. Since 2015 Charity Fast-Trackers have raised over £300,000 between them; we’re excited for you to join us.
*For a limited time, we're offering all Charity Connectors 10% off our Foundation course. Simply use the coupon CharityConnect on our website: https://charityfasttrack.uk/course/12-week-foundation-course/ *

"I tell my students, ‘When you get these jobs that you have been so brilliantly trained for, just remember that your real job is that if you are free, you need to free somebody else. If you have some power, then your job is to empower somebody else." - Toni Morrison
"Excellent course, I highly recommend. Brilliantly led and organised" - Romilda, current Charity Fast-Track Foundation Learner
