What happens to staff pay if the Charity Commission investigates?

Hi all
Just some advice please, I have recently set up my own CIC. Which bank account do you suggest? Something that is quick as most want quite a bit of time! I'd like to start applying for grants!
Will they except banks like Zemplar/Revolt or do they need to be the mainstream banks like HSBC, Natwest, etc?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, just want to get the ball rolling.
