This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
I process Gift Aid for a small charity and they have their bank account closed by the bank as the bank closes a particular type of bank account product. So, they nominated another bank account to be receiving their Gift Aid claim from HMRC which HMRC has changed. I have no problem with this bit.
But my question specifically is whether it is ok to claim Gift Aid from donations of this charity that is now paid into the bank account of this other charity.
In fact, they do all their transactions including expenses through this other charity accounts. They have not been able to open another account because of some credit issue with a trustee or so as I asked. Thank you all.
