Free (min spend) event space/venue for 100 in London

Sierra Slaughter Co-Founder at QueerSwap Posted 1 month ago

Hello!
My name is Sierra and my partner and I are co-founders of QueerSwap, a non-profit events production company that creates sustainable events for the LGBTQ+ community. These include clothing swaps, book swaps, and more! We run these events on a pay-what-you-can/donation basis and with volunteers putting in the elbow grease.
We have recently received a lot of traffic on our TikTok account and our current venue for our Queer Clothing Swap & Social is not large enough for us to host the swap and provide suitable seating for the guests. They also have a limited kitchen staff to handle to food/drink requests of so many people.
We are looking for an indoor space (since it's cold in London at least six months of the year...and that's being conservative) that offers food/drink that would potentially be interested in a minimum spend requirement agreement in exchange for space and foot traffic.
In an ideal world, the venue is also wheelchair accessible and conveniently located. We have a preference for spaces located in East London.
Please let me know if you have any recommendations!
The venues we have used previously are AAJA in Deptford, and Poster Hauss in Hackney in case there is anyone looking for spaces there. AAJA has tons of space but is an indoor/outdoor venue and very cold in Winter. Poster Hauss is indoor but can realistically only comfortably accommodate 50.
Thank you in advance.
