I'd like some advice on handling a volunteer who is voicing strong opinions to our service users – through private messaging – which is counter to our basic aims and values.Â
He means well and he works hard, I don't really want to lose him as a volunteer, but these opinions are going to cause real harm to service users and damage our reputation.Â
I have met with him informally and said firmly what our stance is, but he is adamant his opinion is the correct one.
