How to store electronic documents before charity closure

Happy New Year All,

The Charity I work for is in the process of closing down, we are having various discussions about what or how we store electronic documents excl regulatory documents. Our current thinking is either store everything on a hard drive after dissolution or pay for an extended licence post dissolution on SharePoint.

Has anyone been through this process and can provide any advice/suggestions?
