Insurance Quotes- brokers necessary?

Hi All
I have got a quote from Hiscox for £10 per month for public liability & employers liability insurance.
Can anyone verify this is a reasonable or recommend any other insurers to get quotes from? Have tried a couple of others but they don't do charities.
I have seen advice to go through a broker but this seems over the top to me for a relatively small expense in the age of the internet- let me know if that's unreasonable.
