Issues with opening a bank account
We are trying to establish a charity to raise funds to support protection of wildlife overseas.
We wanted to start the process to open a bank account. We applied to CAF Bank as recommended who agreed subject to our registration with the Charity commissioners but they have now withdrawn their original agreement and were abrupt with our Chairman when he rang to see what the issue was and/or what we could do.
In view of that does anyone have any suggestions where else we may go to open an account. The chaser banks will not open accounts for charities at the moment.
