Problem Solving Procedure

Ashley Ryan Volunteer Support Coordinator at Adoption UK - Scotland Posted 3 days ago

Hello all,
I'm writing what is essentially a problem solving procedure for my organisation. For if a volunteer isn't meeting expectations (this is for small to medium issues) for example if they were a group meeting volunteer and always turned up late, or a volunteer who had poor communication with our service users. In my previous organisation we call it a volunteer development plan because the idea was that we wanted to develop them and correct the inappropriate or poor behaviour/actions. If at all possible we want them to stay as volunteers.
My workplace is keen that this mirrors the employee procedures but that means it would come under grievances which seems quite extreme. What do your organsiations call this procedure if you have one, and what does it cover?

Thanks!
