I have worked in non-profit for my entire career and my background, undergraduate, and post-graduate degrees have all been based around International Development. I spent many years volunteering in increasingly high roles at the beginning of my career for development NGOs around Africa. However, when I finally returned to the UK, I desperately needed a job and ended up working my way up in a large London-based national charity. I spent 5 years there and during that time I have continued to volunteer for short stints in various countries, but I am now looking to move back to International Development as that is where my passion lies - in particular in education and with children and young people. Any advice would be extremely welcome as I am finding it difficult to get anywhere!
