Suggestions on free channels to advertise a role

Recruitment

Gemma Sykes Consultant at Downright Excellent Posted 2 years ago

Hi there
I work with a small charity (I'm a freelance governance consultant but pick up all sorts of non-operational stuff for them) and they are looking for a new CEO who would be contracted as a freelancer for around 3 days a week.
They've tried advertising in all the usual free channels (funds are really tight), as well as reaching out to supporters, asking the trustees (and other team members and volunteers) to share with their networks. But they're not getting much interested.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Am thinking of things like LinkedIn groups that we haven't thought of or other networks.
Thanks :)
