Suicide is not inevitable. That’s what I’ve learned after nearly 10 years at Samaritans. We all have a part to play in helping others and preventing suicide.
I left Samaritans at the beginning of July, and I’m excited to be launching a new suicide prevention consultancy, Nuthatch Consultants
I want to use my passion for this difficult subject and take what I’ve learned in a decade of suicide prevention to help other organisations, businesses and charities.
If your organisation needs help in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of your staff, or to prevent the suicide of people that your organisation comes into contact with, do get in touch to see how I can help you.
I would welcome the opportunity speak to you about how we can work together to put a plan in place to support your organisation or setting to reduce the likelihood of suicide happening.
As part of that plan I can review your in-house mental health and well-being policies and practices, and help you identify and implement tools and resources to support your staff too.
Many organisations and their staff are facing unprecedented challenges at this time, so if you know of anyone that would benefit from my services, please do share my contact details or put them in touch.
I've been a member of Charity Connect with my "Samaritans hat" on for some time but hope it's ok to continue with my new hat on! I've already been having conversations with 4 charities about supporting them, and so pleased to be able to continue to work with the sector.
