Hi everyone,
I’d love to get some insight from the charity community on something I’ve come across. A charity I’m considering volunteering for has recently introduced a voluntary £25 membership fee for volunteers.
The fee is presented as a way for volunteers to show commitment and support, rather than as a requirement—but I’m wondering, is this common practice in the charity sector? Have other organisations introduced similar contributions from volunteers? If so, how has it been received?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
