CharityConnect: VOLUNTEER MINISTERS OF UGANDA
Hello dear friends and well-wishers,
My name is Julius Buyela, a Volunteer Minister from Uganda, Africa. I am writing this message with humility, hope, and a deep sense of responsibility to share why I am doing this work and why I am asking for your support.
For many years, I have dedicated my life to helping people using practical life-saving skills—supporting orphans, vulnerable children, families, and communities who are struggling with poverty, illness, conflict, trauma, and disasters. I work full-time as a volunteer, not because it is easy, but because I have seen with my own eyes that something can be done to help people rise again.
I currently support and coordinate thousands of volunteers across many groups in Uganda, teaching them skills such as:
Communication and conflict resolution
Marriage and family support
Human rights education
Disaster relief and emergency response
Practical assists for illness, injuries, and emotional stress
Helping people help themselves
Through this program, lives are changing. Children are learning how to help each other. Families are resolving conflicts peacefully. Communities are becoming stronger and more united.
However, there is a major challenge.
At the moment, we do not have a centralized office. I operate from a small rented house with very limited space. There is no proper place to train volunteers, hold seminars, store materials, meet partners, or coordinate national activities. Transport is difficult, organization is limited, and expansion is very hard without a stable base.
That is why I am working toward buying land and constructing a centralized office for Volunteer Ministers of Uganda.
This office will:
Serve as a training center for volunteers
Be a coordination hub for national programs
Provide a safe space for community support and counseling
Store educational and disaster-relief materials
Allow the program to run effectively and reach more people across Uganda
This is not just a building. It is a foundation for long-term humanitarian work, sustainability, and growth. It will help ensure that this program continues to serve people today, tomorrow, and for many years to come.
I am kindly asking for your support in any way you can:
Donations (big or small)
Sharing our story with others
Advice and guidance from experienced humanitarians
Volunteers and partners who believe in helping people help themselves
👉 Here is our GoFundMe website where you can support us:

Every contribution brings hope. Every share spreads compassion. Every act of support helps build a better future for vulnerable children and communities in Uganda.
Thank you for taking time to read my story. Thank you for standing with us. May your kindness return to you many times over.
With deep gratitude,
Julius Buyela
