Where to search for media and comms help for our charity

Does anyone have good experience of looking for media, comms and social media volunteer support for a small charity. Where to find good people (we are in Mid Sussex), how best to find them? what is the best approach - look for a small agency, one great person or more than one.
I am open to all ideas. This is our current page on the Charity web site which talks about what we need. All advice welcome!
