Accounting Software Recommendations for a Small Charity

Nick Thomas Development Officer at Communicare in Southampton Posted 8 months ago

Hi Everyone,
We're creating a Digital Strategy for our charity at the moment and one area we're reviewing is the accounting software we use. We currently use a less known software which we're looking to change for various reasons.
I've been researching into the big name accountancy softwares such as Sage and Xero. Due to price Sage seems the more attractive option.
However, I was wondering if any other small charities (with an income of less than £500,000 per year) use Sage and Xero and if so what your thoughts are on these softwares please?

Alternatively if you don't use Sage and Xero, what software do you use and would you recommend it?
Thank you very much for any recommendations or experiences you can share.
