I had posted on here previously that I am trying to change careers to work in the charity sector. The areas I'm interested in are Volunteer Coordinator/Manager and Fundraising Events.
I have applied for quite a lot of jobs but never seem to make the short list. I know my experience is mostly volunteering but I do believe I have transferable skills as well. I think the hurdle I fall at is the supporting statement on an application form. Does anyone have nay advice on writing one and how to make it stand out and make a recruiter want to interview face to face.
