Hi everyone! I'm new to Charity Connect and to the third sector in general, but very keen on learning from all of you!
I founded The Reading Corner a year ago and we're currently going through the process of registering our Charity with the Commission. I was aware this would be a lengthy process, but I'm feeling a bit discouraged if I'm honest!
They've come back to me with several questions about our programmes and seeking justification for some of our plans, which is fair enough.
Does anyone have any advice on how to navigate this? I feel like we're in a vicious cycle of not having funding to fully develop and nail down absolutely every detail of our programmes, but without registration, we can't apply for funding to fully develop our plans.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
