I've just had to witness trustees dismissing our manager using advice from an HR company our charity pay for each month.

We've been told this company only work for the organisation, not the staff. Our manager was forced to have her appeal heard by the same HR company as our Trustees use.

This seems grossly unfair. I want to join Unison in order to have representation should they try tondo the same thing again in future. Do Unison act for individuals working for a charity?
