Hi,

I am David Lilburn MBE chairman and trustee at the charity Help our Wounded Royal Marines and have been with the charity from the start. I was awarded his MBE for services to charity, something I have been doing since 1988. I served for 25 years in the Royal Marines and have a passion for helping our wounded and homeless service personnel . I now work in Brighton as a training Consultant for a software company.
I also run a dedicated team of supporters from the South East that run two main events; the London to Brighton Sleigh Pull and the Brighton to Havant 50/50 Yomp. I live in Brighton with my partner and have two sons and two granddaughters. I also help look after the homeless servicemen in and around the South East.
