I am an experienced health fundraiser, using my biology degree from the University of Cambridge and my early career working within the pharmaceutical sector to help charities make a difference to patients and the wider public. By putting relationships front and centre, I build long term, sustainable partnerships with major donors, corporates and trusts and foundations so that we can transform lives together.
I am fascinated by the work of charities, the contribution they make to our society and the amazing people who make it all possible. It is a pleasure to work with them every day and that is what gets me up in the morning, even when I would otherwise be hitting the snooze button for the fifth time.
I have recently moved to Belfast, making it the latest in a long list of home towns that have included Rotterdam, New Orleans, Cairo, Macclesfield and Cambridge. I love volunteering, especially for health, STEM and wildlife causes and am actively looking for opportunities in Belfast to replace my recent volunteering at the Cambridge Science Centre.
